How this site works
Where everything here comes from
If a claim on this site is not traceable to something on this page, it should not be on the site.
The two tiers
The badges throughout the site show how much weight a source carries. Three lit bars mean a primary source: House House, Panic, Valve or Sony stating something themselves. Two bars mean secondary: a named outlet reporting it.
Where the two disagree, the primary source wins and we say so on the page rather than quietly picking whichever reads better. That has already happened once, over whether the PlayStation Plus offer was regionally limited, and it is documented on the page where it came up.

Figures that move
Review counts, Metacritic averages, achievement unlock rates and prices all change. Wherever we print one, we print the date we read it next to it. A figure with a date on it is an observation; a figure without one is a claim, and we would rather make observations.
Found something wrong?
Sources go stale, and we will have made mistakes. If a fact here has drifted or was never right, tell us and we will correct it or take it down.
