Guides worth reading

Not ours. Here is why, and where to go instead.

Why this page sends you away

Big Walk came out on 4 August 2026. Within two days there were sites publishing complete puzzle solutions and 100% walkthroughs for a game built around groups of people coordinating across multiple evenings. Some of that is real. Some of it is guesswork dressed up as instruction, and you cannot tell which from the outside.

We have not played through the game. That means we cannot verify a solution, and writing one up anyway, reworded from somewhere else and presented as though we had checked it, would make this site part of the problem. So we do not have a walkthrough section, and we are not going to grow one until we can stand behind it.

What follows are places we think are worth your time, with what each is actually good for. We have read them; we have not verified their puzzle solutions against the game, and neither has anyone else you will find through a search.

Where to go

8 Big Walk Tips You Should Know Before You Play

A spoiler-light primer written by an outlet that reviewed the game. A reasonable first read before your opening session.

Must Know Starting Tips For Beginners

Practical group advice: scouting a puzzle area before touching anything, using hand signals when voice will not reach, and how party size affects which challenges appear.

Big Walk Community Hub

Player-written guides, discussions and screenshots. Quality varies, but it is where solutions surface first and where you can ask a question directly.

Reddit

r/BigWalk

The player subreddit, not run by House House. Useful for finding people to play with, which is the problem this game actually presents.

The developers’ own troubleshooting and design notes. The single most reliable document about this game, and the source behind most of this site.

What we can help with

Everything that does not require having finished the game, which is more than it sounds, because most of what goes wrong on a first night is logistical rather than about puzzles.

If you write guides

If you have finished Big Walk and written something careful, we would genuinely rather link to you than compete with you. Send it over.
